State Semi Final Soccer Game

Last Saturday was the state quarterfinal game in soccer.  It was about 45 degrees and pouring rain and huge winds.  It was horrible.  Our team played an amazing game against Carson. Carson has the all time leading scorer that we had to try to shut down and we did!!!  With less than 2 minutes left in the game before overtime, Kayla got an amazing breakaway and scored the only goal of the game. The state semi final soccer game was on Thursday and Kayla was able to score the only goal of the game at the start of the second half.  This has been another great year of soccer for Kayla and Kelsey.

Today is the State Championship game and we are all so excited.  The girls team has won state the past 2 years and are trying for a third. It's a beautiful sunny day with a high of 60, it will be great.  Hopefully they will do well.  Kayla and Kelsey both have had a great time playing together and it's a bittersweet day since it's Kayla's last high school game.
