We're moving to Utah. I know, we've been saying that forever, but it's true. We had hoped to move there last year and actually had planned to until the company Ron works for lost a multi million dollar bid which altered our plans. We thought we'd be stuck in Nevada forever. About a month ago a guy put his resignation in at the Utah office and Ron immediately got a phone call. They want him there by January. He's still negotiating hoping to move the date out a little bit. It will be the best opportunity for Ron, especially since his boss is in Utah. He travels there all the time anyway. The kids and I would stay until the end of the school year, we think.
You would think we'd be jumpin at the bit to get there but the timing just doesn't seem right. Kelsey is going to be a senior next year (do we take her out and start her somewhere new?), the housing market is horrible, who knows if we can even sell our house that has gone down in value over $130,000, I could go on and on......this has been an incredibly difficult month as we have tried to decide what to do. Thankfully General Conference was just what we needed. It seemed that every talk was directed at our family. It is so wonderful how prayers are answered when you are listening to the answers that come.
So yes we are moving ----Ron for sure sometime in January-----the rest of us----- we have no idea. But hey, we'll be in Utah ----it's only taken me 19 years to get Ron there.
